Yes, I believe the Bible is the Word of God. Our depth of understanding of the Bible depends upon the depth of our own soul. Deep reading of the Bible also deepens our soul. Deep reading comes through continuous reading, daily reading. I have read thousands and thousands of books. For me, no other book has this soul-deepening capability.
Yes, I experience God both as personal and as Ultimate Mystery. A leaf on a tree experiences a personal relationship with the tree: first with the branch to which it is attached, then with the main trunk, the roots providing nutrient, and the Earth herself. The leaf also experiences the breath of air, the light and warmth of Sun. The leaf's experience moves past these and dissolves into Mystery, a relationship with Mystery, thus having both a personal and mysterious interflow.
