The tribal mental structure, in which we cling to the thought system of "our own" tribe, has outlived its usefulness, is a deficient mental structure producing a sense of superiority, suspicion, and tribal warfare.
Consciousness mutations have arisen in the past (Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, Muhammad) and of an era (Axial Age). One is being born today: Interflow or Integral Awareness. You can see it in the writings of Kazantzkis, of Ken Wilber, of Ewert Cousins, of Panikkar, of Jean Gebser. The writings are not just words on a page but expressions of a mutational consciousness.

We can no longer live in boxes, the rigid boxes of former minds. We are opening to the beauty of the circle, in which all are present -- a circle with no circumference whose center is everywhere.
