Wise Blood

In her novel "Wise Blood," Flannery O'Connor points out that some people have wiser blood than others. The wisdom is in the blood and not in the brain.
How do we get wise blood? When we open to God, we receive a blood transfusion. Our humanimal blood is replaced by celestial blood. We become celestial beings while embodying as humanimals.
What does it mean to become a celestial being? It means that our awareness expands beyond human societal awareness. We are "in the world but not of the world."
Two thoughts may be disconcerting to you here. One is that your blood contains your wisdom. The other is that you can and do receive a transfusion when you turn your awareness to God, our Source, our Wellspring.
Our blood becomes wiser when we observe a flower or a child playing or the sea. The further we open to the Wonder of It All, the wiser our blood becomes. This is a natural process.
