The old Christianity (Split-World Christianity) is a dying thought form. A new Christianity (Interflow Christianity) is emerging. No longer are you trying to get others to join your camp. You realize that everyone and all is already within this ongoing, ever flowing, ever expanding and deepening camp. Having this realization is "being born again." Born from the old thought form of Splitness to the new thought form of Interflow.
The "I" you call "me" is not an isolated separateness, but is a sphere of awareness radiating outward in all directions. As you go, so goes the world. "When the electron vibrates, the universe shakes" (Sir Arthur Eddington).
The old Christianity (which has never been Christianity) is cast aside and "all things are become as new." We are in interflow with all that is, including our Source and Its sourcing. Knowing this, truly and deeply knowing this, is the new birth. "You must be born again," said Jesus to Nicodemus.
Though you "give your body to be burned," it is to no avail. Your very consciousness must be transformed. You are the Cosmos Itself consciousnessing.
