Grok

Grok: "To understand profoundly through intuition or empathy."

Each of us has some understanding of "grokking" another person. We know how to do it. We know how to have a profound understanding of another person. We drop our defenses, drop our mind chatter and focus our attention on and open our awareness to the other. Our consciousness changes. We are now more inclusive.

This selective and purposeful interflow of awareness with another is also done with animals, with plants and trees, with the written and spoken word, and can be extended to the cosmos itself. 

"Deep calls to the deep." "Draw near to God and God will draw near to you." "As above, so below." "As within, so without." All these sayings refer to a mutual grokking. We know as we are known.

This is our means of world transformation. Whatever we attend to, we become. Whatever we attend to becomes us. Cosmic awareness has wisdom beyond any Ph.D. Cosmic awareness is the new grok.
