Each human is a floret emerging from one section of the Broccoli Cosmos. Connected to the Broccolic Endeavor, the floret gasps for light and room and its own endeavor while remaining firmly attached to the group root. The floret insists it is unique (and rightly so) yet viewed from a slight distance, it is not that different from say, floret # 2137. Some florets say that Broccoli should be pronounced "Broc Holy" while others say hush and just eat what is put before you.
