Tribal warfare is not working. Us against Them is not working. It may work for the World Series where there are rules. If the pitcher hits a batter, they get a free base, a reward. So, no striking anyone with a ball. Certainly not with a bat.
Once, decades ago, I became so frustrated with life that I hit myself in the side of the head as hard as possible with my clenched right fist. OMG! I will never do that again. Being trained in martial arts, I gave myself a pretty good wallop. I had to sit down for a while.
This is what we are doing today as humans. Hitting ourselves in the head. A sure move toward extinction. We are doing this with our attitude, our attitudes. Our tribe is correct and all other tribes are wrong.
That is the old way, the dumb way. We can keep our smaller tribe, yet we are members of one tribe -- the Earth Tribe. This is no hippie woo woo thing. This is Reality!
The first rule of the New Fight Club -- No Hitting. It merely reverberates back to you. It doesn't work anymore.
