diagnosis of current society

I would like to politely point out that our society is insane. One definition of insanity is to keep doing what you are doing and expect a different result. I add another. It is insane to keep doing what you are doing and expect the same result. By employing both as a definition of insanity (and I AM a psychologist), I pronounce our society insane. This does not resolve the situation but it does give clarity.
