Christianity

Though many of my friends have, I am not ready to give up on Christianity as long as we can move away from the "this world is not my home" mentality. Just as David Loy is doing with Buddhism in his "A New Buddhist Path: Enlightenment, Evolution, and Ethics in the Modern World," we can do the same with Christianity. Rather than Jesus being the only Son of God, we can open our own awareness to being daughters and sons of the Source of all Being. We are the Cosmos itself embodying. We are sisters and brothers of Jesus, our awareness opening in concert with his awareness. Rather than worshippers of Christ, we ourselves have Christ consciousness.
