Morning Ablutions

The yellow jacket lit on the lip
hung its backside over the abyss
and shat,
leaned forward into the water,
took a sip then began
methodically washing its antennae,
its face, its front then rear legs,
shat once more into the chasm of below,
took another sip of water
then zing! into the day.
