Debate

Have never seen much sense in people debating about philosophical, political, and religious issues. It's as if the tails of two cats are tied together and they are thrown over a clothes line where they claw away at each other's guts. Their only hope is the line breaks and the tied tails come loose; then they can run off, lick their wounds, and expound on how they won the debate. Of course, each cat may have its cheering section who yell with delight over the other cat's wound while downplaying the wounds of their cat hero(ine). Perhaps my attitude comes from my seeing so many folk in pain over the years and knowing that debating them was foolish. Healing was what they wanted and we focused on that together.
