I am a DynamoSphere wandering amidst other DynamoSpheres, affecting and being affected by these other charged systems. Some are visible, in human form; others invisible to those who keep their eyes caught in the ordinal world, the space-time domain, the world of flesh and individual gratification.
Ruthless removal from the human social matrix of constant interchange is essential for opening to the Dynamosphere of the Invisible, of the Hidden, of the much larger and more ancient world than the sociohuman, of the Domain that births the human who in turn births the socius, the spherical matrix of human noise and action, that which most call Reality.
What is the DynamoSphere of the Hidden, the Energetic Field of the Invisible? The capital letters form some clue. It is That Which Births Us, the Life Force that is both hard to take personally (Zen laughter here) and is most vividly personal (emerging as this persona).
The Visible and the Invisible, the revealed density of the Life Force and the boundless realm of the Hidden, merge. We are “in the world but not of the world.”
The ratio of the Visible to the Invisible has wide range. Some live almost entirely in the realm of the Visible, reminding me of the old story of Nasruddin who was crawling around on the ground beneath a street light. When asked what he was doing, he said he lost his keys. When asked where he dropped them, he said over there, pointing into the dark. “Well, why are you not looking over there?” He said, “Because there is greater light here.”
Of course, that story can go both ways. What is dark to some is light to others. The Hidden becomes seen. Night vision blossoms when one shuts off one’s flashlight.
Wolfgang Pauli, the quantum physicist, states that “intuition and attention” are the tools needed to move from “mere experience” to the realm of the Hidden. I agree. Time and space must be “taken” from the socius (in other words, the socius obliterated) in order to enter the “Kingdom” of the Hidden.
“The solitary bird flies highest.”
