the law of twofold frenzy

the law of twofold frenzy -- a phrase by Henri Bergson denoting the practice in human society of dividing ourselves into two, then yelling and screaming at each other in righteous indignation, becoming more and more consolidated in our stances of exclusion -- kind of like two cats whose tails are tied together and thrown over a clothesline ripping each other's guts out in "twofold frenzy" -- we so love it, are so addicted to it!
