Jesus and Lao Tzu

In my newly begun writing about Jesus and Lao Tzu, my focus is on each one's consciousness as represented by their sayings (not by secondary sources putting their sayings into a certain context, i.e. Taoism, Christianity). I have been contemplating the sayings of each for many years. Now I wish to open understanding as to how the consciousness states their words imply are similar and different. I look forward to many pre-dawn hours delightfully spent in this endeavor.
