getting a grip

We cannot "get a grip" for the hand of thought cannot grasp itself. We can give it thrilling or dull rides over imaginary landscapes, preoccupy it with our usual cleverness, distractions, and abstractions, but we always wind up here. HERE! With our breathing flowing into infinite space and returning to this constancy of change.
