salvation / salve-ation: the spreading of healing salve on one's wound, the wound of rupture of Being, of proclaiming oneself of independent existence and straddle-legged, fists on hips, absolute authority while knowing that one is called into being by a power that cannot be known for when one thinks one knows, the eye stops there, becomes dull and an eye-dull, an idol, an eye-doll is formed and one shrugs that off and opens beyond the self-inflicted wound of self-absorption to the Larger Wound, the largest wound of all: the universe, the cosmos unfolding in an ever expansive pain of ecstasy and abandonment, leaving all behind forever while opening to the unpredictable unknown and the wounding and the salving are as one.
