our positional church and its sacred dogma

Everyone can come up with the logic for their position. No matter how carefully enunciated, it convinces no one with a different position (who have their own logic of substantiation). We mostly like to say or post our logic as a litany which, the more often repeated, reinforces our belief in our position. We have our positional church and its sacred dogma. This is my position and my litany.

  3. Logic is a purely empty--but powerful--structure that can channel content. It's curious that many (unjustifiably) confer/transfer the power of a logical structure to their channeled content (position), even though the root of their content is essentially irrational. (By "irrational," I mean "a given, raw datum;" it's not a pejorative.) Unfortunately, that logical structure typically becomes both the mote and the castle--a sarcophagus--that entombs the individual.
