war and peace

1. Life is dualistic, therefore duelistic.
2. Life is war.
3. Peace is the absence of war.
4. Peace is the absence of life.
5. Rest In Peace

  2. I thought the Tai Chi symbol meant that life wasn't dualistic. That it only becomes a duality as we learn to live within society. Does a baby live in the world of duality? Am I missing something?

  3. Geoge, where is #5????

I just heard Wayne Dyer say "life is a sexually transmitted terminal disease". It made me laugh, like this list/poem made me laugh when I first read it,
"Since everything in life is but an experience perfect in being what it is, having nothing to do with good or bad, acceptance or rejection, one may well burst out in laughter." - Long Chen Pa. (not sure this is attributed to the right person, but I've always loved this quote).............so many ellipsis, so little time... : ) naima, if you couldn't tell from the ellipsis...

  4. Nicholas, the above is the dualistic analytical mind talking. The Tao is the non-dual no-mind talking. Each has its talk.
