object-ivity

When we take a look at anything within our lives, we have to step outside the process of life itself. We call it being object-ive; the right name for it to be sure, since we make everything we look at an object, including ourselves.

All that object-ivity we prize is a separation from the everflowing streaming of ISness, the Wellspring springing. We want to call it to account, as if we are cosmic CPA's. The separation we produce (we become) through our object-ivity is, in theological language, called sin: separation from God. I call it ratio-nality, which serves a limited purpose, but it has its drawbacks, in fact it is one -- a draw back from the streaming of life.
